The Denver Broncos will officially kick off their 2017 preseason schedule on Thursday with a trip to the Windy City. That's right, the Broncos will once again open the preseason vs. John Fox's Chicago Bears.

Broncos football is back. And we've got you covered with everything you need to know to catch the game, no matter where you are, and what to watch for.

Quarterbacks: This game will be all about the quarterbacks. While Trevor Siemian will get the start,Womens Dan Fouts Jersey, Paxton Lynch will see plenty of snaps on the field. Expect each quarterback to get one to one and a half quarters.

Rookies: How the Broncos rookie class performs will be key. Can Garett Bolles continue to dominate the left tackle position? Will Isaiah McKenzie wilt under the pressure of fielding live punts in a real game?

Can Carlos Henderson show some of the explosive ability he did in college in a real game? Can De'Angelo Henderson continue to impress behind C.J. Anderson,Womens Philip Rivers Jersey, Jamaal Charles and Stevan Ridley? Can DeMarcus Walker make an impact as a stand-up outside linebacker?

Pass Rush: Keep a close eye on the Broncos edge rushers. Von Miller won't play much. How Kasim Edebali,Authentic Melvin Ingram Jersey, Vontarrius Dora and the aforementioned DeMarcus Walker perform should give us insight into just how badly the injuries to Shane Ray and Shaquil Barrett will affect the Broncos pass rush.

Interior O-Line: Keep a close eye on the Broncos interior offensive line. Max Garcia (LG) is still battling for a starting job,Authentic Eric Dickerson Jersey, while Connor McGovern (C) will get the start in place of Matt Paradis.

Front Seven: With how strong the Bears interior O-line is, how the Broncos front seven performs against the run should tell us whether John Elway made the right moves to bolster the rushing defense.

The Broncos own a 29-28 all-time record in preseason openers, including a 16-14 record in road games.

Denver will travel to Chicago for Thursday’s game to represent the 19th time in the last 20 years the Broncos have opened the preseason away from Denver.

The Broncos lead the all-time preseason series with Chicago 6-3 (5-1 in road games).

Denver’s current roster features 36 players who were not with the team in 2016.

The Broncos have the toughest strength of schedule in 2017 with their opponents posting a combined .578 win percentage (147-107-2) in 2016.

Head Coach Vance Joseph will make his Broncos debut as the 16th head coach in franchise history.

Mike McCoy, who spent the last four seasons as head coach of the San Diego Chargers, returns to Denver as offensive coordinator—a position he previously had with the Broncos from 2009-12.

Joe Woods was promoted to defensive coordinator in 2017 after leading Denver's top-ranked secondary the last two seasons.

Who to look out for in Broncos first preseason against Chicago

Football is finally back! Preseason or not, it’s still going to be nice to finally see some kind of action that isn’t training camp. The Denver Broncos will play the Chicago Bears in their first game in a match up where Broncos fans will be able to see how well their team could do this upcoming season.

The Broncos shouldn’t struggle against a rebuilding Bears team, but it will be interesting to see how certain players perform tonight. With still many questions that need to be answered for the Broncos,Authentic Dan Fouts Jersey,Authentic Philip Rivers Jersey,Authentic Melvin Gordon Jersey, who are players that fans should keep an eye on?

With the quarterback position battle going on for weeks now, Vance Joseph has decided to give Siemian the first start. He was the starter last year and did fairly well,Womens Melvin Gordon Jersey,Womens Melvin Ingram Jersey,Womens Eric Dickerson Jersey, but missed the playoffs. Now he could get his second chance to improve and show that he is worthy of leading the team. He gets to make his case first towards Joseph on why he deserves to be the Broncos quarterback.

Quarterback – Paxton Lynch

The other quarterback trying to grab the starting job. Going into his sophmore year, but still can’t seem to push through it. He’ll get the second team reps against the Bears and work his way up to the first team. Lynch was drafted in the first round last year and Broncos fans were hoping he could possibly be the starter. Siemian may lead the way in the position battle now, Lynch has nowhere but to go up from this point. He has showed signs of starting potential, but if Lynch outperforms Siemian then we could see a change.

Offensive Tackle – Garett Bolles

The Broncos first round draft choice in this years’ draft has shown the team that he can play. Bolles will get the start at left tackle against the Bears and hopefully keep it like that once Week 1 comes around. I wasn’t too sure if the Broncos made the right choice on drafting Bolles but he has been consistent and is improving everyday, now he’ll get his chance to show us all.
