Organising a party for teenagers can be a daunting task. Usually there is very little trouble at them in general but boys being boys (or girls for that matter) given any opportunity to 'muck about' they will. Here arew a few tips to help your teenagers party go off without a hitch:-
- Make sure there is adult supervision, and more importantly make sure there is enough adult supervision - keeping an eye on 100 plus teenagers is difficult.
- An adult on the door is necessary to stop gate crashers and to stop guests leaving once they are at the party (a car park full of noisy teenagers won't please the neighbours), only let those in with an invite or you know.
- Regularly check in the toilets to see if any have decided to have some fun in here - wet toilet roll sticks to the ceiling and is difficult to remove.
- Teenagers will try to smuggle in alcohol to your party, if they do things can get out of hand, be suspicious if a guest brings their own Coke bottle or mineral water to the party - it might not be what it seems.
- Fire exits can allow entry for uninvited guests - keep an eye on them so Little Johnny doesnt let all his mates in from the yoof club.
- Be there to keep an eye on things in the background but don't forget it is a party and let them get on with it!!.
